HaHa! .....My father said the same thing! ......"I eat my peas with honey, I've done it all my life......it makes them taste a little funny, but it keeps them on my knife! ....

 

Must try honey with peas. I use Acacia honey in my tea sometimes, it's sweeter than regular honey.
Honey is nature's antibiotic and it never goes off as it kills any bacteria that gets in it.
