Dealer told water pump was leaking need help/advice.

So i checked twice for the bubbling and gurgling on cold starts and once for a warm start. I can't hear it anymore. I may have heard it once but that was when i was really trying to hear it. Nevertheless the bubbling i heard on the first cold start from the dealer has NOT returned, which i take as a good sign. I checked the overflow and it is right under the line, while the radiator is filled. Hopefully this issue is done with. That being said i'll take it out on 50 mile drive this weekend and push it hard to get any last bubbles out (if there is any). With all that said i can't thank you enough with all the help/advice you have given. I don't know how i could thank you. Hopefully i can put this behind me.

 

Hopefully final update for anyone who cares. I cannot hear the bubbling anymore and calling this project done. The original dealer quoted $676 for the pump, plus $160 for the coolant flush. In total i spent about $170 for the pump, coolant and having the dealer do a coolant flush. Either way i saved a lot of money. This had to be one of my worst projects just because of the nightmare involved in bleeding the air. However thanks to the great members of this forum and a huge shout out to Patrick Wong, i was able to finish this project.
That being said for anyone who is looking to do something similar to this be patient. And follow the great guides hear on the forum, they were very helpful. Other than bleeding the air, the water pump install went easy, everything went back together great and didn't take more than two hours. Here is the picture of the pump, which apparently may have not needed to be replaced, either way its done. Thanks again for all this forums help!

 

Couldn't have done it without you! Also in hindsight the dealer should have done it with out forcing me to shell out a diagnostic fee.

 

Yep hopefully i wont have to put that knowledge to use again anytime soon. I'll let them know of the "great job" they did in the survey i'll get. Anyway thanks again.

 

One thing i like to add, the level of my radiator has dropped to almost to the bottom of the neck and the overflow has dropped a little too. This to me double confirms that the dealer did not bleed the air properly as no more bubbles appear behind the dash. Either way i'll bring the car back to them to let them top it off, and let them know of the crappy job they did.
