I cannot find any threads on them? Usually coilovers are over budget and normally just do springs and some koni yellows. These at $500 are tempting to try: ebay: 161577400224 Anyone have feedback on these? Found some 350, IS and 3 series reviews that were good outside of the suspension snobs. This is also my first post so will show you my Prius. No worries if you hate it. Thanks, Dave
Well, I gave in and ordered a set. I figure I can resell them if they are junk. The build quality looks good. I am a bit nervous about several loose barrings in the box... follow up question; can I expect to have issues front/rear alignment using factory hardware. Is a front camber kit or rear shim kit needed? Of course the lower the more severe the camber, how much variance should i expect though?
Our shop tried installing a set, unfortunately the front Coilovers did not match up. Customer had to return back the setup for a refund
Same with me. They said mine must be an early 2011 because it still has 2010 parts?? Regardless they did send me a label and offered a full refund. I decided to just order TRD springs and sway bay. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
2010-2015 Toyota Prius all have the same front Strut assembly. That is a bunch of bs they are giving you. iPhone ?
That’s just an excuse. All gen3 Priis (2011-2015) have the same Strut assembly. If ur set on coils, try Tein street basic or street advance iPhone ?
Went the more OEM Prius Plus route with new shocks/struts, TRD springs and TRD sway. Much more pleasant to drive along with 17s. I honestly do not see a MPG change. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
CXRacing gets their coilovers made from BC. The IS300 guys have had good experiences with the CX coilovers.
