If I purchase Toyota Part number: PW301-47005 Will I need anything else for the roof rack? Or does this kit include everything? Thanks!
I just now bought this rack. It includes everything to assemble and place. Use this youtube video for directions on how to put it together: (The video mentions of having a rack bag + protective film for holes, but I ignored that I did not have those)
Buy the oem toyota rack. I picked mine up for 299 at a local dealership, and it was so easy to install. It's made by thule so i was able to buy t bolts to secure my bike rack and cargo carrier straight to the bars
Shop around. Check a variety of Toyota dealers that sell over the internet. They each seem to offer different discounts. Looks like about 20% off is you best deal at the moment...Here's an example link...Several dealers I saw had the same price. My prime actually came with the rack as an added option that the dealer never installed but since I didn't want it, I sold it to someone on this forum. That's another option as others may have ended-up with racks they didn't need.
Just installed this, not hard at all. Would recommend people shop around online for free shipping no tax. I did and saved a bunch. Was about $255 shipped no other costs. Good quality rack. For others reference the part number above is the only item you need to buy.
