I heard something on the news today that PA is offering an additional rebate to buyers of hybrid cars... guess all of you qualified folks will have to check it out!
Here is a resource about Hybrid Incentives: http://go.ucsusa.org/hybridcenter/incentives.cfm And here is a link directly to the PA incentives: http://go.ucsusa.org/hybridcenter/incentives.cfm#PA
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(barbaram @ Jul 24 2006, 10:43 PM) </div> PA does offer a $500 rebate for purchase of a hybrid vehicle. There is a requirement that you file within six months of purchasing your vehicle to qualify for the rebate. Due to a funding shortage there was a temporary suspension of the program a few months ago - but the funds are again available for the rebate program. If you purchased your vehicle in January 2006 and have not filed for your rebate yet - PA is waiving the 6 mouth rule because of the temporary suspension of the program earlier this year. They must receive your rebate request before 8/14/06 or you will not be eligble for the rebate. For the rest of you who purchased a qualifying vehicle - remember you must file within 6 months of purchase for the rebate or you are out of luck. Springtime
