Picked up a 2007 Prius with 270k miles any advise?

The owner had to replace 4 cells, he states that after the change he balanced the HV battery in November 2017. I could find not leaks underneath the car. I drove it home on the Interstate avg 42.5 mpg on the way home (155 mile ride) the car felt incredibly tight. The vehicle has leather and appears to be pretty much loaded. All the electronics works and the body is good condition. The car has lived in Alabama and Georgia its entire life.

My first impressions: Impressed a car with the 270k drives as well as this one does. I generally work on my own vehicles (trust issues and I am cheap) this is my first hybrid., Beyond the average mechanics what should I be looking out or listening for at 270k? I did use the Torque App and downloaded the Pids for Prius, I do not remember the numbers but all packs were right around the same voltage. The Aux battery is relatively new and it stayed a steady 13.8 v.

Any advise would be appreciated

[Thanks SFO, the 12volt battery read 12.6v resting as of this morning when I left for work. 13.8v while driving home under load. A/C, windshield wipers, radio and cell phone.

 

I think for this weekend while I have access to a lift:
Go through and check suspension wear (feels tight and tracks straight)
Inspect / change air filter
Inspect / change cabin filter
Change plugs
Change oil
Inspect brakes
Inspect / Change transaxle fluid
Flush brakes
Ph test / Change coolant

 

Gentlemen never discuss money, however since I am not one of those... I paid 2500.00

 

I have always had good success with Pennzoil, for no good/bad reason never been a fan of Mobile One. The Oil is clean and according the logbook the oil was changed 12/11/2017 only has 440 or so miles since. They used Castrol Magnetic Synthetic, I will keep an eye on levels as I go so.

Well got her up on the lift today, everything underneath is solid.The ball joints,axles, control arms are solid no leaks anywhere. Front brakes were worn down pretty good, put new pads on (rotors look ok). Checked transaxle fluid still quite pink seems to have been services recently, however with the miles and not able to verify what is in there I went ahead and did a drain and refill. Cleaned the maf and throttle body, air filter, pcv while i had the airbox off and changed the cabin filter which was gross. Tomorrow will move to the interior.

Do you need to ask? LOL of course, I did not know what was in there, with 270k why mess around?
$9.45 a quart for piece of mind...Hell yes.

 

I checked all four corners while up and no leaking from any of the struts, They are all Oem and age unknown so replacement and maybe a mild suspension drop is on the radar. As of now no knocking or unsettled behavior. The Kybs are a trusted brand and I will most likely be going with those when the time comes.

I extracted some brake fluid from the bleeder screws and all seem clear. Again unknown age of the fluid is an issue w/ mileage for me. the fluid at the the bleeders was consistent with the fluid in the reservoir, so this is another maintenance issue I kicked down the road a bit had the fluid been discolored I would have done it yesterday.

Bleeding the brake system is not difficult, I always gravity bleed one corner at a time and make sure the reservoir does not run dry.

 

Well pulled interior and cleaned carpets today. I found the spare tire well had water, I pulled the grommets to let the water out. I need to track down where the water is/was getting in from. I suspect the water is getting in around the tail lights I did not identify any cracks in hatch channel nor we able to find the source after hosing the car down... So tomorrows project seal tailights, silicone the hatch channel.

I took her for a ride this afternoon out in the country and happened across this old shack, I thought it was neat so grabbed a pic.
