hotel room is the best, if it's a long charge. a half hour at a mall for top up is fine, or dining for an hour or so works well. but i really see public charging as travel mode, where you can't plug in at home. in that case, hotel only, because our other stops are 5 minutes only.
By the way, I assume you meant at a ChargePoint station. 99% of my charging is at home (so, sleeping) or at work (so, working). I only use ChargePoint when I'm somewhere else and I don't have enough range to get back home or back to work. I'd use it tonight if there were a charger at my destination, but as always, there isn't.
Maybe you’re like me Bisco. After many years in school, I have become so learned that even I can’t understand what I am talking about. My wife says I am over educated for my brain.
Is it not sufficient to watch the electric meter spin, the hybrid battery state-of-charge indicators blink, and the “Hybrid Battery Voltage,” “AC Charging Total Time,” and “Charging Elapsed Time” values increase in the Data List? Sometimes quiet reflection is best.

use my mobile hotspot on my phone to access my Amazon Fire tablet and watch streams from my Xfinity App. Granted I don't venture very far from my home (which has an outlet at 120 VAC) but when I got to my son's house I charge 24 miles away at Schoolcraft College the proceed to Washtenaw Community college which is another 20 miles away then 7 miles to my son's house. I make it an all day affair both there and back.
