I can't find in the manual how to cancel the navigation before reaching destination - or at least make the lady shut up. Anyone?
Look for something like ROUTE, and then DELETE. Contrary to how it may sound, this does not delete the route from the nav's memory. It's still there and you can reuse it any time. It just stops trying to take you there right then. -Chap
Try selecting "destination" again. When one is active already, it should give you the option to delete it. Having no easily accessible MUTE function is an unforgivable design flaw. I don't remember how to do it because on my C it is buried about 3 levels deep in menus. So is the volume control setting. Pathetic. I've used about 10 different brands and models of GPS units and NONE of them were like that.
If it works the same as in the 2010 and if my memory is correct: DESTINATION delete destination? YES The instruction are in the Nav manual somewhere but they were a PITA to find.
