Yesterday we finally took delivery of our new Black Package 8 (I think that's what it's called). We had custom black leather put on the inside with heated seats and added some nicer 17" rims (see pics) Now - please tell me where the best place to get the ECO / Battery only mode conversion is (someone that will ship to Canada). I'm on the list to for the PHEV conversion but until then I want to make this one as efficient as possible. We bought this car in Bellingham WA and imported it into Canada and thus saved more then $5k after taxes (don't ask why, Canada dealers just take advantage etc..) plus we were able to get HID headlamps (not avail in Canada yet)

Congratulations on your new baby, EcoJosh. Looks great! Look on here for threads about EV Mode or EV switch and you'll find lots of info on the "ECO / battery only" mode. You don't actually need a separate switch, but you can buy an OEM one from several vendors. Be aware that misuse or poor use of EV Mode can reduce your fuel efficiency, therefore using more gas and being less eco-friendly. And add some more detail to your profile, when you can, like your location...
Congrats! I had the heated leather installed on my 2006 Barcelona Red and love it. What kind of mileage are you getting with the 17" rims?
Very nice looking rims! I just got my Black Option 7 yesterday and I am getting two-tone (Black/Grey) Leather installed - dealer arranged. I have been facilating on the wheel/tire situation - I know I want to replace the stock items but was unsure how black rims would look on the black car. Yours are nice -- what are they? Do you know the weight? What tires did you choose? ... Sorry, lots of questions! Today I am busy ordering Tom's Racing parts and various goodies I am learning about on this site... very fun indeed... Bob
It is nice to see another Black Prius with chrome lip rims. You will get a lot of attention. Yorks, I am now getting 48.8 MPG (used to get 52.0 MPG) with my 17" rims. See this thread or my signature for more detail. Dennis
