California Rebate

I am trying to learn more about the rebate.

We are joint filers, with 3 kids. ($225,000)

Would we qualify?

 

I think so, for the base rebate ($1500). When you fill out the application online, it says that it might ask for income verification (an IRS form to release your gross income to them). If you submit it and the application is accepted without asking for the income verification, then you are good to go without the verification. They did not ask me for verification.

Well my application was finally approved. Submitted on 12/15/2017 and was approved yesterday, 1/17/2018. I sure hope it wont take a whole 90 days to have the check mailed. Crossing my fingers!

I also just got approved. Submitted 12/19 and approved yesterday 1/18. Still awaiting approval for the SCE Clean Fuel Rebate. Hopefully it will be soon seeing how I submitted both at the same time.

Do they e-mail you when it's approved? Or do you have to keep checking? I just filed about three weeks ago (right after New years).

 

They notify you by email so no need to check. Unless you're like me and will check anyway hahaha. Just got the approval email from SCE Clean Fuel yesterday so now I'm just waiting for the emails letting me know the checks have been sent.
