Was cleaning the interior this weekend and I noticed that there were micro scratches already. So I started looking around at Screen Protectors. Anyone use them? I'm thinking about it but I'm thinking that maybe they'll just peel off, bubble or worse bond permanently when it get's really hot in the car. Thoughts?
complete waste of money, mine kept bubbling up, tried to force the bubbles out with CC then fingernail, they just kept coming back, so I removed the offending screen protector, much happier now
@Lee Jay - please let us know if you get one. I would be very interested in knowing how it worked out for you as I have the same concerns about scratches on the touch screen.
I have a screen protector on my Accord's screen. It definitely adds more glare over the factory matte screen. I would suggest getting a matte screen protector or be extra careful with the factory screen because who knows how much glare a glass screen protector would add.
I ordered the 11.6 acer one from amazon and it doesn't fit. The protector is the same top to bottom as our screen. But our 11.6 in not as wide. I am sending it back.
I got a cheap one on Amazon, all of $10 for a 2 pack. It was slightly tinted and not optically clear. I complained. They indicated I should have purchased their "HD" version. But then sent me a free set of those. Carefully installed, one tiny bubble due to a tiny dust piece on an edge, but otherwise no bubbles or issues. Its now lived through an unseasonably warm summer and now an overly chilled winter, no peeling. Haven't tried to take it off yet, but I'm not worried.
