2010 Prius doesn't return to center after turning right. It is drastic so I believe it isn't an alignment issue. I have return it to center myself. Also, which is probably connected to the steering issue, while driving the car if I gently move the steering wheel to the right I hear a humming/vibration in the left wheel. Basically as the car shifts its weight based on steering input there is a humming noise. No snapping/cracking noises when going over bumps either. Now I know what you might be thinking.... Wheel bearing...... I replaced the wheel bearing and that didn't make a difference. I also have new tires and a recent alignment. Any ideas?? I'd like to have some knowledge before I take it to a shop.... Thanks!
I'm gleaning towards your electric steering rack. Especially, the power steering electric motor. Asides that, have you taken a look at the tierods, to see if they're stuck?
