Hey guys, just bought a red 07 base on Wednesday and I absolutely love it so far. Previous car was Lexus RX300. Gladly my brother does window film for a living and I needed it done ASAP. I think it looks much better now! 5% from B pillar back, 15% front doors, 43% windshield. Sail windows wrapped in gloss black vinyl. Next up new tires.
With the exception of the windshield, any tint is allowed in MI. You can tint the top 4 inches of the windshield. Be very careful not to drive it out of state.
It is very illegal in Michigan, anything in front of the b pillar is actually. But my other two vehicles have similar tint done and no issues. Gladly if it came down to it and they make me remove it, I got it for free because of my brother lol
De badging is on the list. May have some wheels lined up but will see what happens. Spoiler and roof will be wrapped gloss black so it’ll look solid black from front to back.
Looking good. Pretty shiny for an ‘07! Mudflaps are a nice touch too, and will help protect the paint.
