    What were you trying to achieve replacing the sway bar?

    The Pontiac is about 4 mm larger. I was trying to stiffen up the suspension so it didn't wallow around so much in the corners without negatively impacting ride quality. I think the ride quality sucks enough as it is...

    Thanks for the info.
    Did you also have to upgrade the shocks from the stock to something more higher, or something?

    No you don't, though people here have upgraded both front and rear shocks.

    When replacing the front sway bar, be sure to get the brackets and bushings from the donor car.

    When replacing the rear sway bar, I took the larger bolts from the donor car and then added some thick washers for my install. Be sure to get the top and bottom orientation correct the first time around.

    I did not upgrade struts, but I'm sure I need to as the originals only have about 275K miles or so on them now. Some adjustable coilovers would be nice if anyone wants to donate some to me ;)
