Only if you can find a private bank to give you 0.9%. Good luck with that.

    Minimum MSRP $28,800 + $895(Destination) = $29,695 - $4,000 incentive = $25,695 then add carpet ect options.
    Minimum Invoice $27,648 + $895(Destination) = $28,543 - $4,000 incentive = $24,543 then add carpet ect options.
Price looks ok at first but the dealer is pocketing the $1,100 NY in-state rebate. Not from me their not if I was in NY.
I'd be be looking for ~$24,000 or about $500 over invoice which is fair. They need to make a living too.

    This was a good deal.

they just bumped the rebate to 4k in january, so earlier purchases would only include $3,500.

New Prius owner... I only bought because of Federal tax break at year end 2017.

-Model/color - Prius Prime Premium, Platinum Glow.
-MSRP - $29,943 (Includes all weather mats).
    -Incentives- $3250
-Selling price before TTL - $24,300 (price includes the $395 documentation fee, does NOT include registration fee in NH, $680)
-Out the door price (after TTL/fees, specify tax %) = $24,980
-Dealer location - Prime Toyota Lancaster, MA.
Also note that I will get $4500 Federal rebate for 2017 filing brings price down to $20,480.

I was actually looking for Honda Clarity but they did not have incentive like Toyota.
I started checking out Prius Prime and settled on Premium trim.
1 week before Christmas I started visiting dealers (got quotes using True Car).
They also had incentive to unload before year end due to rebate going away.
I made the deal on December 23rd Saturday when New England had snow/freezing rain.
    So far loving the car.

I have a price from a NY dealer on a 2017 Prius Prime Advanced in Blizzard Pearl of $29075 OTD minus only tax if I trade/finance. MSRP is $34703. Any feedback? I think it’s a good price as I received pricing from about 7 different dealers and that’s the best...

I was told by multiple dealerships that being that I will be registering the car out of state I do NOT qualify for the NY State $1,100 rebate. I’m assuming this is the case as the NY website dealing with the rebate states “residents of NY”:

what is the price of the car before any 'out the door' costs?

    Msrp $34,703
    Selling Price (fees included) $33075
    Minus $4000 dealer cash
$29,075 final selling price (includes doc and other fees)

That number doesn’t include title/tags of $32 I’ll have to pay when I get the car home.
That number doesn’t include possible tax as I may have a trade or I may simply pay cash at which point I’d pay sales tax when I got the car home as I’m purchasing out of state.

So dealer is taking $1658 off the sticker, plus the $4k rebate.

that sounds like a great price, not an amazing price. but if you have contacted 7 dealers, it's the best price right now.
could be the dealers won't be willing to go lower until the end of the month. discounts just depend on desperation.
    all the best!(y)

@RobertZ just reported about $5643 ($34,703-$29,075) off MSRP due to incentives and dealer discounts.
You appear to have achieved $5628 ($29,943-$24,300). It seems to have come from a larger Toyota rebate and smaller dealer discount but the net still appears to be right in there with some of the really good northeast prices.

Add the federal credit (assuming you qualify) and you end-up with about 1/3 off a fantastic car.

To apply for 2017 Federal rebate you had to put the car in service in 2017.
Check IRS for 2018 law changes, I was under the impression that in 2018 the Federal rebate for energy efficient cars is no more. (it was on again off again during tax debate last year).
You are right about 1/3 off because in my case $30K MSRP came down to 20.5K after incentives + federal rebate.

That is good news indeed. The incentive should keep these cars rolling off the dealer lots :)
I was looking and looking but could not find the reference as I was ready to buy the car.
I am still happy to pull the trigger on a very nice car at a great price.

This is, in fact, the case. I called my tax accountant/attorney to confirm.

I was hard shopping 17/18 Prius Four & Four Tourings before I saw the NY rebate on Primes. I have this forum to thank for that. I want as much gas savings as I can get - the $4000 dealer cash incentive plus Federal Tax rebate gives me a better looking, better MPGe car all for a cheaper price!

Plus, I heard it's as fast as a Tesla p100d at half the cost!!! :ROFLMAO:

    Hyper sonic red premium (extra)
    door guard
    weather mats
    rear bumper protector.
I missed the $4000 off by one day. I purchased Jan 2-2-2018

Hello Everyone! I have been reading the PriusChat forums since just before the purchase of my Prius Prime Premium on December 11, 2017.

    - Magnetic Gray Metallic
    - MSRP $30,068 (includes the all weather package, and door edge guards)
    - $1000 Toyota Incentive
    - $26,582 before TTL/Fees. tax
    - $26,582 + 2,143.81 (tax @ 7.75%) + 326 (fees) = $29,051 (out the door price)
    - Tustin Toyota

I am really happy with the car so far! Already at about 2500 miles.

    -JT
