My lumbar sucks too on longer rides Also the headrest is very poorly positioned. I’m 6’1 and the seat is comfy and hugs bell but in long trips it’s not the best. It’s not made to sit proper but the sink in unfortunately when you sing in it feels very good for short period. Sitting proper is a skill that you need to work on constantly. This car makes it hard to sit proper with the seat and headrest design.
Sorry to hear it's not doing it for you, but seating will always be subjective, there's no one seat fits all unfortunately. I'm about 5'10" head to toe and a bit shorter in girth and find my cloth seats fairly comfortable. My UK Business Edition is a bit more/less than your 3 but has electric lumbar support and I've no complaints. Except, that is, my derriere is a bit too close to the ground when I have to get out. Nothing a lazy boy couldn't rectify.
I do like the comfort and design of the new generation seats but I didn’t opt for the power seats and occasionally some lumbar support really hits the spot. I recently found two products and decided to try them out. OMP (HB/692/N) Lumbar Cushion $23.68 on Amz Designed for their racing bucket seats. The part listed above is their small size and fits me perfect. Good firmness and it KIND-OF sticks to the fabric seats due to the Velcro strips on the back. Depending on where you like the comfort, it’s easy to adjust up and down while you drive. It's firm and noticeable but not stiff for me (180 pounds). I would recommend this product! ROHUA Lumbar Support $19.99 on Amz Design looked interesting. Not a great fit for our particular seats in my opinion. A little too much extra volume at the bottom and not enough in the actual lumbar area. Pretty much just moves your backside forward. Not recommended.
