Sorry Folks, not the best @ understanding how these useful Forums work etc. Anyway, here goes. My mission is 2 fold; a magnetic sump plug and if possible (I realise this is a shot-in-the-dark) the 'hand grip' fitted to the curtain/tonneau(US term) covering the boot/trunk on the new Gen 4. The latter is such a useful improvement/innovation on the new Prius, shame it wasn't fitted on Gen 2 & 3. All Prius owners will know how tricky it is/can be to grab the curtain etc. Can you help please? Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards Christopher Lynch
found this old thread regarding the magnetic sump plug. could be helpful: Magnetic Drain Plug | Page 3 | PriusChat I had no luck finding any grip adapters for our tonneau covers. best bet is to probably find a universal grip that can be wedged. otherwise, I think its fine in my opinion. good luck!
Ok thanks for that information. Don't know whether you have had an opportunity to look closely @ the Prius Gen 4? Obviously Toyota have made this useful addition to the curtain/tonneau; resulting from feedback perhaps. I'll probably end up crafting a copy from wood. Regards CJL
