Just wanted to share my experience with the forum: I have a 2012 V with roughly 210,000 miles. Backed out of my driveway and got about a block down the street when I hard a 'thud' sound and the car kicked into neutral and every light on the dash went off. I couldnt shift it into anything other than Neutral or Park (unlike some reports I've read on here of owners being able to limp in EV mode - my car wouldnt move at all). Had AAA tow it to the dealership and they said the inverter and some other hybrid components had failed, $5,000 worth of repairs, but it would all be covered by the extended hybrid warranty. Should have my car back by Wednesday
Very generous of your dealer. I have 220,000 and incredibly few problems however recently shock absorbers don’t seem to be absorbing much. Wondering if you have experienced this yet?
