...on PriusChat. I entered my full real name when I signed up and would prefer to use a 'nickname'. I have been all thru my profile and see no way to change my name... How do I do this???
I think just start a new profile? Which is not quite what you want, leaves your current contributions hanging, but I don't think you can do anything about that. Maybe just give up and keep going, lol? Every so often I think I wonder the same thing btw. My first forum experience was a photo forum, where more users tended to use their real names, and it worked, no problems. Just avoid posting pics with your license plate, posting your email or phone number, for example.
That should work.....IF you have a whole new set of critical information to give, like a different email address. Some software will even refuse to make a second account from the same IP address, but it would be worth trying.
It is definitely possibly, I've seen it done, even if moderator intervention is required. (Or are least it used to be possible, on older host platforms. The main example I remember was years ago, before several system migrations.)
