Ah, right on. I thought gamma742 was saying price was too much for a 2010, but now I realize it was miles.
Nice lookin ride! I'm surprised you had to replace the hybrid battery though. What Happend? 2010+ hybrid battery failures are still very rare here on PC
Hybrid battery went out at 136.000 miles, my sisters 2008 prius has a new battery as well, it went out at 97.000 They usually tend to go out anywhere from 100k to 150k, and usually if it goes out at 150k, you out of warranty and you have to pay for it ($4.000) 140k is nothing for this prius, its ready to go another 10 years
That seems very early! I've got a 2004 prius (built in 2003) with its original battery and over 200k miles. We've had 2 other Prii with over 200k and no battery problems either. Btw I've ditched Prii because of the oil consumption and headgasket issues. I drive a ford c-max now
I have noticed with the new battery much more power and more MPG (average about 55), how do you like the cmax? What are you averaging
Thats awesome! I've only had it this winter, been getting low 40's but I think the weather effects it fuel economy more than a prius. Summer will be nice! The cmax is very powerful, it's actually hard to accelerate slow, it wants to chrip the tires all the time! Its crazy. Side note, it has 100,000 miles and its done 40,000 without the gas engine! Insane
