    Needed to log-in so that I could say thank you. This was fast and easy.

    OBD: BAFX Products 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool for Android Devices [$21.94 at purchase]
    App: ELM Basic (URL will say com.drively.elmterminal) [Free]

    (I would include direct links, but the forum won't let me.)

    I bought this unit a while ago to look at the codes for a check engine light. Does anyone know if this can be used to turn off the reverse beeps (all of the units here seem to be WiFi / bluetooth ones connected to phone apps):

    Ask your service advisor to turn them off the next time you are in for service. Mine did for free.

    I'm Confused.

    I tried Gary's method from Page 2 of this thread today with a newly-purchased WiFi OBDII device (
    )

    , but received different return codes than he listed (I have a 2012 Prius V also).

    I typed:

    [ME] ATSH7c0 (adding spaces or using upper-lower case letters didn't seem to matter)
    [ELM] OK

    [ME] 21ac
    [ELM] 61 AC B0 57 7F 21 12 (I didn't receive Gary's 61 AC 00 (00 means continuous reverse beep))

    No idea what do do with this. Needless to say, continuing with Gary's additional codes resulted in nothing happening. Do different terminal apps give different results for any reason? I was using ELM 327 WiFi Terminal (free) for iOS.
