Totally agree. I always wondered why there was no coolant temp guage. Guess it gets too hot and throws a code. I would hope that it specifies a coolant issue. When my codes came up for the battery I still drove it home. What if the engine was overheating the whole time?
I'm not sure you could do a programmed chg/dischg cycle with a split current using those chargers, but all good if you can. On the basis of what the car's BMS does, you should be safe to do that given the following: SOC % V per cell V per module Pack V 1 40 1.28 7.68 215 2 80 1.36 8.16 228 3 100 1.40 8.40 235 So I'd say between (and including) 7.68 - 8.16 V you can hit it with 5 A and outside that use only 350 mA.
