Finally got around to installing sound deadening after buying the material well over a year ago. :ROFLMAO: Started with the rear doors and will work on the fronts and hatch another day. Using Peel n’ Seal from Lowes & Ensolite from RAAMaudio. Left some untreated areas near the speakers for when they get upgraded. Now the doors shut with a nice satisfying thud. (y)

Got a chance to swing by Hybrid Pit to add 5HP to ride and did engine coolant and invertor drain and flush. My bad, minus 5lbs of weight :) Saw a sick fully mod STI there. They not only work on Prius but other ride! Thanks guy.

Installed LED fog lamps from ijdmtoy.com and replaced the bumper grill since I had the non fog light version.

I had the lower grilled blocked and saw it went to 198 the temp when i pushed it on the hills. And my tires were at 42 front and 40 rear. But that wasnt my biggest disappointment. Just knowing i had lost engine oil and i had to buy a quart to top off a little was annoying my 2008 toyota 4runner v6 has 170,000 miles on it and it never once needed to be topped of.

Got a smog check done yesterday (thanks @Joele3 );).

Did the passenger front wheel bearing hub assembly on Friday. Much quieter now:).

Then did the oil catch can install this morning:
    • Mounted on the cross member 9E6C8D07-60C7-4182-9F8C-15A5739A348F.jpeg
    • Cut the stock hose in half and spliced in the hose connections DA1C9972-F7C3-4578-BC54-01E658840E16.jpeg
    • Found a can and zip tied it to the cross member 6A6C9CE2-20D2-4A97-B4CF-0B5950FE465B.jpeg 983A3E16-63EE-421C-9456-169BFD7405AB.jpeg
Should be good for awhile (y).

    Is that a generic can?

What kind of lid or cap was used, and where is the drain hiding?

    Can inside a can;).

I actually got an oil catch can off of amazon, then used the other can as a holder for the oil catch can. Up tied the spare can down and the oil catch can “floats” inside the tin can. Good snug fit and will ensure it doesn’t get loose:).

Put it underneath the engine to ensure good drainage and no accumulation anywhere other than in the catch can;).

    Have a good holiday season(y).

Anyone who have tried this tail as turn module? seems pretty cool actually. The 3rd gen prius is supported
Tail as Turn™ Module, DIY | Diode Dynamics

I also really recomend the Smarttap flasher for people here, i installed it in my car yesterday (wasent a fun job to change it but yea...). it prevents hyperflash in LED bulbs. Tap to signal 3-6 times, arrival and depature lights for 10-90 sec when u unlock and lock the car (its a bug with the arrival lights tho.. on my prius atleast, so the indicators dont stay iluminated when u unlock. Ive contacted them and they r looking for a fix they say... lukcily its 3 yr warranty), different hazard patters and stuff

I have that exact module on my Infiniti G37 coupe. Works great and I love it. I don't have it on my Prius though.
