Part Check 2005 Hood and Fender work on 2008?

    Part Check 2005 Hood and Fender work on 2008? Local wrecking yard just got a blue 2005 Prius in. The hood and side driver fender will work on my 2008 right? Just missing the hybrid badge I think. Dummy check me before I run down there at the break of day so my car doesnt look like a mess anymore!

    Yes same part....interchangeable.

    How much is the hood? That's aluminum

    Take a magnet with you if you want. The OEM hood is aluminum as JC says. Rebuilders typically save a few bucks and install carbon steel replacements. But yes all parts cross. You should be able to lift your hybrid emblem off your quarter panel with some heavier fishing line and reattach with an appropriate 3M adhesive.

    Thanks! Unfortunately the junked car was already harvested by the time we go there. Ah well, got an inner fender I needed at least.
