Prius air filter box, lid filter

    Does anyone know what the air filter in the lid of the air filter box is for and if I should clean it? I am cleaning the MAF today and the airbox as well and hoping someone can shed some light on this

    it's an emissions scrubber, ignore it.

    sure, just dry it out before reassembling.
