The car notifies me when I get calls/txts, cool, but emails? Come on... Anybody knows how to disable the email notification?
I used the iPhone function to not allow incoming texts when I’m driving. Now the car tells me that I’m not getting a text. It doesn’t tell me anything about emails though.
Just go into the app, click the three dots, select options, notifications, and turn it on or off. You can do the same at www.myentune.com PS, this was not on by default. It was turned on/edited at some point.

Thank you for clarifying. Using a tablet, the vehicle does not show up si I had no idea what he was driving. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
On my iPhone, I find turning the page to Landscape orientation shows the profile information when using a web browser.
You might want to try using the PriusChat website instead of the app. That's what I use on my phone, I found the app too limiting. Plus it makes it easier to switch back and forth between PC and phone since the interface is nearly the same.
Thanks for the discussion, guys. Maybe I didn't say it clearly. My Prius Advanced keeps popping up notifications when I receive emails on the phone. That's excessive! How to turn that off but keep the notification on when I receive a phone call or txt message?
1. While stopped with the car on, press the MENU button, select Settings, select Phone, select Notifications, change the settings for eMail Pop-up 2. Do what Mark57 said to do in post #4 3. Read the Index in the back of the Navigation manual for Notifications and see what each function does.
I have a very strong suspicion that there are two different topics being discussed here. Owner2b said "The car notifies me when I get calls/txts, cool, but emails" but all the answers I've seen so far concern the entune app and charging notifications. However, I fully believe Owner2b is referring to the "Toyota 2017 Prius Prime Wide Navigation System Owner's Manual (OM47B68U)" page 191 in which you can configure the car to receive notifications from the phone that the owner has received an email or text message from someone. Not entune and not about charging, but from their spouse reminding them to get milk at the store.

I'm getting emails on my Prius Prime all of a sudden. I had to do a factory reset on my phone, but my Gmail notifications are "off." I set the email notifications to "off" in the car, but I'm still getting them? Any ideas?
