    Thanks for the reply

I ended up getting a 330e i-performance since I need to get the Fed Tax credit this year. If the 2018 incentive goes in effect in Tx and Fed still has the tax break I'll be interested in the Prime again.

I'll going to sell my 2011 and 2007 Prius for now and wait and see about Texas tax credits. And hopefully they will be available without the 3-6 months wait.

That's what is so odd. The new Toyota headquarters is 15 miles from my house, but if I search a 200 mile radius I find exactly three Primes in stock - one Plus for $28.5K and two Advanced for $34.6K or $35.7K. The DFW area has well over 7 million people and we have only 3 Primes available listed at full price. I'm hoping they'll send some cars here if the state incentive goes into effect so there is a little dealer price competition.

I'm in "Prime Heaven", California, where there has not been ANY TV, web, or written ads for "Toyota Year-End Sales Event"!! We've all been victims of our overzealous imaginations; there is no Prime; it doesn't really exist!! They're shoving ICE bombs at us in all the Socal ads I've seen! ☠

    Err ... what ?

Did you buy a $45k for a car to assure yourself of a $7,500 tax credit ?

just got mine with 30k out of the door, and found all those tech features on a prime is pretty useless like the Navigation, and the mobile app.

Purchased at Heritage Toyota - Burlington, Vermont
    - Model/color (2017 Prius Prime Plus - Gray Metallic)
    - MSRP/Sticker ($28,279) w/body side molding
    - Incentives ($3250 Toyota Rebate plus dealer discounting)
    - Negotiated Selling price before TTL: (~$23,400) includes dealer doc fee.
    - Out the door price (~$24,900, with Vermont TTL; Vermont tax is 6%)
    - Heritage Toyota - Burlington, VT

I called around quite a few New England dealerships and got good offers from several. There were quite a few Prius Primes available mid November even with the aggressive $3250 cash rebate offer from Toyota. Settled on Heritage Toyota, Burlington, Vermont; they started a bit high but were willing to negotiate - Marc Halliday was my sales rep; he's good guy..... [email protected] I've bought several cars at Heritage before, so knew them fairly well, that helped. They are a strong dealership with a good reputation.

Two other dealers that offered similar pricing, were more than willing to deal, and have good reputations:
** Acton/Littleton Toyota in Littleton, Mass. - Internet Sales Rep is Joe Joyce - good guy..... [email protected]
** Berlin City Toyota of Portland, Maine - Peter Gordon; another good sales rep....... [email protected]
I would recommend either of these dealers/sales reps. Mention you saw it here....

For those that got their Prime with the NE rebate, is anyone kind enough to post some paper work from dealership proofing the price and breakdown? (Without your name and VIN) The dealer I went to wont match the prices I see on here unless they can see some kind of proof.:( Appreciate if you guys can do this.

How's this? The $26803 number is down from the MSRP of $28443 ($27100 + DPH $895, liners $248, door guards $125, rear applique $75).Did you show him the TrueCar price? That's basically what I did, and they used that to drop the price by the reported savings amount.

Sounds like you have a sleazy dealer. Just go online to any N.J. Toyota dealer and it will show the manufacturer discount offered on the price.

I benefited from this thread before going to the dealer and would like to share some info:

    2017 Prius Prime Premium
All Weather Floor Liners/Cargo Tray, Body Side Moldings
    Total MSRP: $30,152
    Final Sale Price: $25,000

OTD: $27800 (NJ sales tax + reg + doc fees)

    Prestige Toyota, Ramsey NJ

A couple days after I test-drove a Prime Advanced, I texted them if they would match $25K on a Prime Premium and got a quick positive reply within 10min. A week later, I drove off with my first new car, also my first Prius. Dave provided great services in the entire process. I had a great car buying experience there.

    Yeah, this thread was fantastic.

2017 Prius Prime Premium from Princeton Toyota in NJ
    Total MSRP: 30,008
OTD Price with Tax and everything: 26,500

At one point left the dealership to be called after getting 5 minutes down the road from the manager saying they would do the deal. Was on Black Friday. Didn't plan on buying a car, only wanted to test drive to see if the wife and I liked it. I put some numbers out there and they agreed.

After the tax rebate, looking at an even 22K

You were lucky. Even as a returning customer Princeton Toyota thought it was too much trouble to get involved with shipping so blew me off. Their loss.

This was the exact dealer I went to that gave me a hard time. I went on Saturday and they want $28931 for the Premium OTD with PA taxes(6%). Would you be able to post your breakdown? Thanks

For some reason they want $289xx OTD for a premium at Princeton. I see someone got a good deal, I guess I need a little luck.
