    $40 is a good price- lower than what I pay. I'm going to check for coupons, now.

    The thing is with a Prius, the maintenance is cheap even if you go to the dealer for everything.

    Back in the early eighties I had a 1980 242 Turbo Volvo and my Turbo blew a seal at 40K plus miles.
    Found out at the time that I had the longest running oil cooled Turbo in the US. Volvo picked up 100% of the bill which included the Turbo and a new Catalytic converter which was trashed when the oil seal went and sent three quarts of oil down the exhaust pipe.
    I changed the oil every three thousand miles and it was dealer serviced.

    I have no idea how much I've saved doing all maintenance on our all Toyota family fleet since 1993, but I'll bet it would buy several Toaster Packs:cool:...

    And in time it probably will:D.
