New problem, locking car beep gone

    hey everyone. Starting today i have noticed that the car has stopped making the single beep whenever it is locked. It still does the double beep when it is unlocked. I have tried locking the car from multiple sides touching the sensor on the handle as well as locking with the remove. The car locks as intended but other than that silence. Have anyone ever experienced such a thing?

    Found the answer on a lexus forum, one of the doors was not locking. Sure enough it was the left rear door! I dont know why it was stuck, manually locking and unlocking it restored control to the solenoid and now it all beeps as usual

    Thanks for posting the fix in case one of us have the same situation. Should it get stuck again, I think a trip to the dealership may be in order to grease or replace the mechanism before the bumper to bumper warranty runs out.

    Likewise, thanks for posting this problem and the fix..I recently had a similar problem with my Ford Focus not beeping, ended up having to replace the horn..Crossed brand, ocean gap..
