    I would't think the Prime battery is user replaceable without some equipment. It's too heavy to lift for one thing! But then again, some people will try anything. ;)

    Toyota was using old Prius packs to time shift electric use at some Japan dealers. They'll work for any stationary energy storage need. Though getting the cells and components separate would be a better way to go than buying a new car pack for that purpose.
