Not true, my dealer is still offering 1500 off or 0% apr

 

I was too busy with work and pulled the trigger on this price. Agreed to 25700 out of the door for prius premium - magnetic gray.

 

From my experience, so far, shipping is not for the faint of heart. I will explain further in a few days after (hopefully) getting my purchase wrapped up.

I have bought two cars this way in the past year without any problem.

 

I picked up my Prius Prime (Advanced model) this week for $30,800 plus $940 destination charge, tax and tile fees. I'm happy.

 

This is after taxes? Best I have right now is around 28k for the same car in NY including taxes and all other fees/charges whatevers.

 

that seems a bit high. are u getting the $3,500. rebate? how much are they discounting the car?

Wow are you located in NY? Seems very high for DMV fees of 447.50 and registration fee of 350.00. I just paid a total of 150 for everything. I was transferring plates from one car to another.

 

Wow rebates are up to $3500 now! Man a year ago I only got $1000 off MSRP and $1000 rebate for bringing my own financing.

Make sure to get the 1100 NY drive clean rebate as well. For some reason, none of the dealers were mentioning this.

 

Looks like we should have braved the LA traffic-- you got better deals than I did out in the desert.

 

Are you sure they are charging you the full 8.875% sales tax? there should be a cap on sales tax when buying a car.
My city has a 5% sales tax, but my dealership is capped at $600 so they can't bill me the full 5% sales tax which is nice. You might want to verify that with your dealer.

I am aware of one state with a sales tax limit -- WA

 

NJ charges full sales tax, unless it's an EV, then there's no tax.

 

Spector's profile says Pacific Northwest so presumably WA?
