Thanks for the info, I am hoping they will accept an unofficial transcript. I will be graduating next semester.

I need to verify about the better financing deal with this rebate, it will be great if thats true.

The rebate coupon for recent grads specifically excludes the prime model. How did you get them to apply it?

The prime is now included in that rebate as of this month.

I am in Los Angeles. Looking at Hypersonic Red in Premium or Advanced. I don't qualify for state rebate.

Best price I have gotten is Premium: 27,300$. Advanced $31,200

I am willing to go to other parts of states, or other states for better deals if can be.

If those prices are before the federal tax credit and no other junk fees are added, they are good. Perhaps not the absolutely best, but good. And your time has to be worth something to you, not to mention the costs of buying non-local.

Guess, I should just jump on the deal then :). I am planning to shop around some more tomorrow using this price as the reference.

Also, trying to decide between the magnetic gray and the red.

I bought the Plus in NY earlier this year for 25.5k OTD. That included the delivery fee and mats.

Hi all. I'm in the market for a Prime Advanced in SoCal. This will be my very first Prius and first time buying my own car as I've been driving around my beat down 2005 Ford Focus hatchback that my father bought while I was in college.

I've contacted a few internet sales departments and so far the best price I've been quoted is $30,969 including the $1,000 cash rebate. I plan on financing through Toyota with the 0.9% special since I have excellent credit. I know I'm unable to get both the rebate and special financing so, is a purchase price of $31,969 a fair deal to accept? Also, should I let them know up front that I'm planning to do special financing during this negotiation phase or nail down the price first and know that I'd be adding that $1,000 back on? I hope that made sense...

And last question, I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I'm also eligible for the $750 college rebate, is it possible to use that rebate and special financing?

    Thanks for all your help!

The CA rebate is $1,500 but I was under the impression that funding was expired on that for now. The $1,000 I was talking about is the dealer cash back if I used my own financing to purchase.

NJ has a $3500 manufacturer rebate again. When I bought mine back in September (again with a manufacturer rebate), I ran the numbers multiple ways and the $3500 was a better deal than the 0.9% financing for me. You should run them all yourself and compare.

(and if you have a few days, fly to NY, enjoy the city, and buy it there or in NJ and drive home and you'll have a free vacation for the $2500 extra you'll get back buying on the east coast).

Prius Prime Premium. 29750.00 all in before the 3500.00 Toyota rebate. 26,250.00 out the door. 4500.00 from the F'ed up Govt. and I'm at 21,750.00. Not bad at all for a cutting edge car getting the equiv. of 90mpg.

Just brought a hypersonic Red Prius Prime Plus in upstate NY for 28200 before taxes and any rebates. Pick the car up tomorrow! Looking forward to taking a nice long drive with it . Traded in my "gas hog" the Prius C for this new car with all the safety features.

Or just spend ~ $1000 to have it shipped to your home. No antics from the dealership salescritters, no afternoons and evenings wasted, and usually trivial negotiations from the comfort of your notebook computer. I cannot an imagine an easier way to save a couple thousand dollars.

Do you have a brochure or an AD that I can reference? I tried looking online but I can't find any current ads.
