It is getting to the point where I cannot visit this forum anymore. The level of humor has exceeded my tolerance level. I am forced to chuckle, eye roll, and sometimes LOL. And on one occasion, Lmao. It is hurting my productivity. This cannot go on. Please try to maintain some decorum. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. To help steer the conversation in a more serious and productive direction, let me pose a question that has been bothering me. When you walk up to your Prius, do you ever get the feeling that it is watching you? I am in U.S. and have a trim-level IV (non-touring) if that helps.
…not watching me exactly, more like waiting and getting ready to scuttle away - the first time I set eyes on my 2009 Gen II (touring) in Magnetic Gray (hint, hint) I was inspired to give it a name and I feel sure @RCO (being a Cornishman) will understand my choice (see also my avatar!)
I'd only be worried if it had those old school pop up headlights that blinked at me or swiveled from side to side to see if I was coming. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I would be worried. My son has a new Civic. People say his car looks angry. He says my Prius looks VERY angry!
Yeah. Every time I go to get in, it says: "You know I'm not a pick up truck, right? You're not going to force me to carry more lumber today right?" I say: "No lumber today, Eric. It's a load of potting soil." Eric: "NOOOOOO! They put chicken poop in that!"
Sometimes when I walk by it I hear what sounds like a mocking chuckle, but whenever I turn and look it's just staring straight ahead
Is that a Toyota digital video recorder? It must be JDM because most all search results are Japanese.
Nope! Not there. I can tell from the picture plus I was there yesterday. But that sure is a cool project. I know mine is watching, btw, and I don't really mind except when it says, "I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave." Dad gum it!!! My name's not Dave!!!
There was a posting from the original owner. Apparently, the idea started as a challenge from Todd. He gave it to Todd after the wreck. Apparently, Todd repaired it & offered beck to the original owner who declined. He posted a photo from Todd. Rather than look for that posting, i just grabbed one of the early photos. Here is Todd's photo of the restored Pruck. Here is the posting. 2005 Prius to Light Duty Pickup Truck Conversion | Page 5 | PriusChat
Cool! Yup, that's Todd's shop. I didn't know that story. LOL! Not quite. But it also asks if it'll dream whenever I reach for the power button to shut it down.
