There's far too much humour and morale on this forum, but just run with it. You'll find the switch near your right knee on the lower fascia. It sits beside the HUD on/off switch. There is a relativity small number of Brits on here but we're massively outnumbered by our extremely helpful transatlantic cousins.
That sounds like the auto high beam switch. I think we all interpreted the mangled request as the auto headlights. On trims that have them, that is controlled from the headlight stalk switch.
pull the fuse? There is likely some legal reason they cannot be turned off when used on public roadways.
What I do is select the No 2 position on our type B which illuminates parking lights at front and tail lights but no heads.
Yeah - We usually take the easy way out and just add "New" in front of it (e.g., New England, New York, New Hampshire, etc.)
If yours is "TYPE B" - then, no, you can't. Mine is "TYPE A" - and I put them on AUTO 18 months ago when I got my car, and have been really happy with their performance. Why do you want them off?
