We have had the Prime for two months and just hit 10k miles. Our 2007 Prius has close to 500k miles, so it will be a bit until we hopefully match that car. 10k and no issues to speak of except for Pandora playing in the background of my calls on occasion and some connection issues with my phone for no apparent reason. What is your mileage if past five digits, and any issues?
We have nowhere to plug in this car. In PA, my vette is in the garage with our motorcycles, and I'm not putting a new vette on the street to charge the Prius. (The car's a bit much for the area). We tried an extension cord and it didn't work. In NY, the same extension cord didn't work (we go between PA and NY, vacation home in PA). Granted, this was a 100 foot extension cord. We don't have a garage in NY, the prior owners turned it into living space...that we don't use. I might get an external charger installed or even an outside outlet. On gas, I think it's around 68.2 mpg, I'll update when we are in the car.
We’re at 6k/2months and so far so good. Around 50+/- on gas only and up to low 70’s with charging. Only issue we have is charging iphone by the usb sometimes got weird (keeps dropping) after the last update.
I had a similar issue with USB charging. Somehow the USB charger is low Amps and didn't do fast charging. So I plugged in a USB connector in cigarette lighter slot and used the original Samsung USB cable. Now charging is much more faster.
