Last Night I drove the car find came back home part of the car and this morning in the actual in the afternoon I try to start the car for first two times he didn't starred says check hybrid system and then the third time the car started but we did check hybrid system message and the sign on the left. I'm clueless at this point what to do some guidance would be highly appreciated
I took the car to AutoZone to see what is the code but the code reader sees there is no code. The light was still on to check the hybrid system and the Triangle exclamation sign. Then we turned of the car and check the 12 V battery and the battery tested hundred percent good. After that I restart the car and there is no code no sign back to normal again. At this point I don't know what was wrong but the car is back to normal again no more message on the dashboard
might need to clean the hybrid battery cooling fan, make sure the intake grille is clean, and not blocked by anything. how many miles on her? is the 12v original? those tests aren't always accurate, and the code readers sometimes won't recover prius codes.
Same situation this morning. Car wouldn't start and Check Hybrid System. After attempting more than 10 times car started. Then followed Nutz and Boltz video for Maintenance mode and then turn it off. After that no more check Hybrid System message. I am so frustrated with this situation. Wish to sell it and move on.
