I found that Summit Racing has the lowest price on the Optima battery.

It'll be 6 years for the Optima Yellow Top 12 volt this fall. In particular since the COVID-19 restrictions, we've been using the car sporadically, 3000~4000 kms per year. In light of that, and being garage stored, I wired in a quick-connect, and keep the battery on a CTEK 4.3 smart charger, whenever the car's sitting idle for multiple days.

Normally I use a Solar electronic load tester at the posts to check it, but this morning just took a volt reading. Yesterday afternoon we did a drive from North Coquitlam to Vancouver International Airport (YVR), about 80kms round-trip.

Measured this morning, 20C ambient temperature, not shabby:

To be fair, without the near-constant life-support it’d as likely as not be replaced by now; the Optima has high (450 rated) Cold Cranking Amps but lowish 38 Amp Hours.
