I just spent all day trying to get this navigation software to connect to my 2016 Prius 4 Touring. My iPhone 6 is connected by BT. All Entune apps work fine. However after I install the Scout GPS Link, it keeps telling me to connect my BT. I know that this software is garbage (almost every review calls it that), but I still want to try it. On some board that I read it said to delete all personal data and reinstall the vehicle software. I have done that to no avail. Has anybody tried to use this navigation software. That theoretically is better than the native Entune navigation

i was just getting ready to tackle this. i have the four with the jbl as well, but i hate that we have to pay for nav updates, whereas every moden gps app updates for free. i was hoping scout gets us around this... watching to see if you get this working

The Prius comes with integrated navigation, not ScoutGPS so Scout won't work on your Prius. (At least not the way Toyota intended it to on their other vehicles that are equipped with "Connected Navigation" or ScoutGPS)

ScoutGPS isn't available for the Prius as it uses integrated navigation. ScoutGPS on other Toyota vehicles are free to use for 3 years.

There is a way, at least with Android phones. Unfortunately, you have to root your phone to be able to do so.

LOL. It's hacking the OS but disables many security features and updates. Thereafter you have to sideload your apps and updates. That means download them with a browser and install them yourself which is potentially unsafe.

I have a 2017 4th gen Prius, Trim 4. As best as I can determine (and in agreement with some other posts on this site), if you have the trim 4 (or 3) which already has integrated navigation (Entune Premium), Scout GPS Link will not work. It is designed for Trim 2 or cars which otherwise do not have integrated nav (Entune Audio Plus). But from what I hear, Scout GPS Link is not very good/functional and would be a downgrade. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I do wish there was a simple mirroring in which Google Maps could be used as an option. Advantage of built in Nav is it works when there is no cell signal/data. But compared to Google Maps, not as good. Expensive to update maps as well.

Scout GPS is not available on the 2017 Prius. The One, Two and Two Eco do not have navigation at all. They have Entune Audio (not Entune Audio Plus)

It is basically mirroring but with a different app (Scout) as opposed to Google, Here or Apple maps. (I guess TomTom too but it's not prevalent in the US market)
