For Sale: CKS Suspension Coilovers Fits Gen 3 Prius Asking $500 OBO Will ship at buyer's expense Has less than 1000 miles on them, selling because the bags that I got came with struts.
It definitely rides more firm than stock. It’s a good firm for the most part until you go over a series of bumps and then it gets kinda annoying (I’m a soft, floaty type of suspension guy... think caddy lol) It also adjusts pretty low. I was tucking tire on a set of 19”s and probably had another inch of adjustment. I’d say maxed out they’ll give you about a 4” drop or so.
I haven’t heard of this brand (CKS) before. What is the spring rating? How much negative camber can you get out of the front coilovers? How come the springs are mounted in the shocks in he rear? Isn’t the shock suppose to be separated from the springs like the stock suspension?
I will be honest, it’s not a huge brand and they make mostly European applications. ModBargain sells them and they have a Facebook page if you would like to get more information. Search CKS Suspension. I didn’t really dial in the camber but I was at -4.5 degrees with just the top mount adjustment, and you have more adjustability with the bottom bracket so I would say overall maybe -6 degrees or so? The springs are just placed over the rear struts so they fit in the box. They are separate for our spring bucket setup. Not sure what the spring rates are but reading the spring it looks like the front are 220mm 10kg and the rears are 200mm 20kg (or maybe 2kg)? That doesn’t seem right but that’s what’s written on the spring. There’s a memeber here wsupwill that has them as well.
