It sounds like a noble premise, but watching the video on cleaning the filter has me concerned about the environmental impact. They use maybe 1/3 of a can of aerosol brake cleaner, then soap and water. The expense of brake cleaner, vapors vented, and water with dissolved petroleum products likely going down a regular sewer, is not really addressed in the video. I've heard that used disposable filters can have residual oil extracted in a tightly controlled process, using centrifuges and steam. As long as the disposable filters are being brought to responsible recyclers, and ending up in such a facility, that would be preferable I think.
