I am selling my 4KWH Enginer PHEV Kit. It is in perfect condition. Have done very little miles on it. It is not needed anymore as I work now in the City and commuting on motorbike only. So my Prius with the Kit stays in the garage most of the time now. The price is £1,350. It is bargain! Half of what I have paid for when I bought a new Kit a little more than 1.5 year ago. +447512169364 Alex
Hi Alex, have sent you a converstatio about the kit. Hope to get some info later today from you so we can proceed. Best regards, Anthony
One question; would an enginer kit designed for the gen3 Prius (2009-2012) work on a gen1 Prius (2001-2003)? Assuming the 2001 Prius on glyndwr's profile is a UK standard gen1 and not a grey import NHW10 Prius.
Hi grumpycabbie, I am in the process of buying a Gen 2 NHW20 grumpy buddy, and this will be going into that sometime in the near future, thanks for the input, making sure as i am fairly sure it will not suit the Gen 1 , Cheers Grumpycabbie. Best regards, Glyndwr.
Hey that's cool. Look forward to hearing how you get on (including photos). Always interested in the enginer kits, though just don't have the time or the electrical experience to be bothered. There are also a few UK members on the leaftalk forum who have previously converted their Prius with enginer, so might be another place to check for details.
Hi Grumps, Bought the kit thismorning, all went smooth, albeit late as alex was late...... never mind though, he is a lovely guy, glad i met him and glad i bought the kit. I did test drive his prius with the kit installed before i bought it, all working very well, he has a lovely car. We then stripped out the kit, and i made my way home. Alex, please dont forget to forward those emails as you promised. I did just read on the enginer forum that they have just gone out of business...oops... just mu luck. I am hoping that real force will honour the warranty on the battery cells, the electronics with it are off the shelf stuff so not too bothered if and when they go, (hopefully they wont fail too soon though), but i am sure these can be sourced relatively cheaply over here. I will post photos of the install once its all finished (got to get the prius now) anyone know of a Gen 2 going for a reasonalbe price lads.... maybe a 53 or 54 plate, dont need anything any newer. Cheers, Glyndwr
Is anyone else interested in a used 4KWH Enginer Plug-In kit? It's currently located in my 2004 Prius in Michigan, USA. 616.475.3851
Hello, I am interested in it. How much is it again in USD? And how much would shipping be? Regards Brian 951-312-6081
