Hello all! I reside in New York. And I just got my first PRIUS!!! It's a 2014 Prius plug-in I needed it for a potential job that I'm very close to getting and the commute is going to be brutal lol. Hey guys sorry about the late reply I would've thought I would've gotten notifications about this chat lol. Thanks for the warm welcome. My commute would be 83-90 miles each way for a few months and then hopefully I'm transferred closer which makes it a 55 mile commute each way. My 2014 is a base plug-in I love it.. I went from a 3 series BMW to this. I knew I had to buy it for gas mileage and reliability. But once I started driving it and noticing my gas mileage... I was like... I went from a performance car thinking I would hate it but it would save me some bucks, found I loved it as a car too. I have done over 200,000 miles in a Prius so far (on my second one now as my son in law is now loving my old one) apart from being the most economical car it has also been the most reliable and relaxing on long journeys, spacious and practical too. I hope you have a rewarding experience with them too.
Welcome. Feel free to post a pic of your car. We all have done it at one time or another. Also, be advised that this car will make funny sounds while driving, starting up and even after its been parked for awhile. This is the nature of the car so don't be alarmed. Enjoy!
