I sometimes do these searches for giggles and hit the jackpot today. Seems to have held up pretty well considering the mileage. The trip computer is showing almost 45 mpg over 390k which is equally impressive. Would be interesting to see if some one can pull the maintenance records from Toyota. Asking price is bonkers though https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/704497990/overview/ Wyoming Trucks and Cars - Wyoming's largest used car dealer. - Best Prices Guaranteed!
Kelly Blue Book shows it at $5600 trade or $7600 private party. The original ad wanted $5995 although now it says "not priced".
KBB value buying from a dealer in Wyoming shows a fair price of $9,741. Seems too high for my blood, but that's the book value. Details here. Although it's not what I'd be looking for, the $6000 price seems very low- but there are a lot of variables working here with a car with this mileage.
There are so few comps at this price point that it's hard to know what a fair price is. But I don't see how $9,741 could possibly be a reasonable price. We just paid not much more than this for a 2012 Prius v with 100,000 miles, in SF Bay area.
Just before hurricane iIrma came through, a Miami area Carmax dealer had a 2012 Prius V ( now sold or flooded) with 103,000 miles listed for $8395, so, that super high mileage Prius is only a salvage value car, IMO
In San Diego there was recently a V with 300K for around $7000. The posting has been deleted but I dont know if it sold or not. It was used by a Limo Company Whats the realistic useable life of a V ?
