I just installed the CoastalTech EV switch (20 minutes...easy instructions) on my '06 #7. It seems that I have to be at a stop when I do the 2-second pull on the Cruise stalk to get it into EV mode. Anyone else notice that? Am I doing something wrong?

You will usually not be able to do it just after starting. I most often use it at the end of a trip when I am going home.
Agreed. I will usually activate EV when coasting to a stop light or sign. I am also trying the technique of using EV on startup from as many stops as possible. It appears that I am getting about a 2 mpg addition onto my normal mpg cumulative displayed on the MFD.
