I've noticed this for a short while now. At first, it wasn't a big deal, but I'm at the point where I want to fix it. When I set the window to auto-up, when it hits the top it makes a small mechanical squeal. It sounds like the motor is moving the window past the limit. With the window fully closed, if I click the button to auto-up, it makes the same squeal. Any suggestions?
I have never tried to work on my own power windows so if it were me I would take it in and have it fixed if it's still under warranty, if not I would at least get an estimate. I had one in another vehicle that burned out a motor because it was maladjusted, if I had gotten it adjusted it would have saved me some money.

Sometimes I go back and try to find good questions that should have been answered but weren't, hope Tobalt sees your answer.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Marlin @ Jul 5 2006, 06:43 AM) </div> I'm looking at the manual, and the only calibration I can see for the window is a cal needed to be done if the autoup/down doesn't work. Not the problem in my case. I think my window might be misaligned; I'll check it out with the dealer.
If your aux battery has been disconnected or discharged at some point, the window calibration must be performed. See http://priuschat.com/index.php?s=&showtopi...ndpost&p=275025
Mine has always made a little bit of noise going up? I have never had the auxiliary battery go dead, off or anything! I guess I should try the "recallabrate" thing
