PriusChat Shop - Order not received, emails being ignored

    So I placed an order on August 20th for a sun shade for my new Prime.

    August 29th, the USPS informs me they cannot deliver the package because it does not have the unit # of my townhome. (The unit # is in the shipping address I provided) I emailed PriusChat and Danny replied with:

    I don't understand, the shipping label is printed out and placed in a windowed envelope on the package. There shouldn't have been any problems with the USPS reading the label, but we'll definitely get that label reprinted and back out to you if you still want it.

    I think your beef is with the USPS, not us.​

    Obviously my "beef" is with him since he didn't put my unit # in the address but that's besides the point.

    By the time I was able to get in touch with the post office to ask about re-delivery, they said it was already on it's way back to the sender. No big deal, he said he would ship it back out. All is good, right? Wrong.

    I have emailed Danny 4 times since August 30th without a single response. To say I'm dissatisfied is an understatement. I've given him ample time to spend 5 seconds responding to an email, let alone re-shipping my package.

    I'm filing a dispute with my CC company today and as a Toyota/TMNA employee, I'm pretty frustrated with this entire experience. I've worked customer service jobs in my life and know the nonsense they put up with. I know he's received the product back, it doesn't take 2 weeks to ship from KY to NC. I just want it shipped back to me.

    Just wanted to post this so others know the potential issues they'll run into if they order anything from this website. Maybe he'll see this and finally decide to respond to an email or ship my product back, maybe not.

    Waited a few more days because I really wanted to receive the sunshade before my Prime arrived but I went ahead and filed a dispute with my CC company.

    Really a shame. Definitely won't be using the shop again.

    yes, seems to be an increasing problem, that even the mods are clueless about.
    to tell you the truth, your 8-29 response from danny may be the only communication from him in the last few months.
    another member has been waiting weeks for a product, and no response to email, phone or pm.

    Well, I received the product yesterday but it doesn't appear it was due to Danny re-shipping the package.

    I believe it was due to my calling the USPS asking for re-delivery. I believe it arrived back in NC and then made it way back to me. (As the address was not corrected but there is a sticker on the package from the USPS correcting the address)

    Of course, I had called my CC company and did the dispute yesterday morning and they already refunded the purchase. So, if Danny ever manages to respond to my emails, I'll happily paypal or send him the money as I don't believe in keeping a product I haven't paid for.

    I reached out to Danny again today, since others said he had responded, received a response, an apology and I'm paying him the money back for the Sun Shade.

    All is good! :)

    I am wanting to order a bumper protector from PriusChat Shop but all the comments of non delivery and lack of customer service deeply concerns me. I like to order from them but should I ?

    I think Danny had some personal life issue happen these past few weeks, which isn't necessarily an excuse just an explanation.

    I received my Sun Shade, although it was addressed improperly (I put my Unit # in the Address 2 line, so maybe avoid using that line?)

    I agree that there must have been some sort of disaster. I hope it's it's all better now, but I'm still cautious. I want to order a sun screen for the wife's '07, but I think I'll wait for an "all clear" from Danny or a couple more favorable reports from customers.

    Agreed, the shop owner/manager needs to communicate with a message on the store site or to his potential customers. Nothing deep or fancy, just a "we're still here, come and get it."

    Do you REALLY want to argue about this ?

    Even those who have some ties to Danny other than this forum can't seem to come up with an explanation for the poor service over such a LONG period of time. It has been continuous, mostly, and completely without explanations......or excuses even.

    NOT GOOD SERVICE.

    Things happen in life, that's just a fact.

    I never said it was great service but everything was resolved. Put your pitchfork away and go troll someone else.

    Part of the frustration being expressed here is that it's not just the store, though - the forum's had major errors for months now, with no real official explanation (the moderators being almost as much in the dark as we are), and no sustained improvement.

    I think the site should charge a user fee, heck, why not, it’s a for profit site, then users might get responses, for example, I’d like my username from 2005 back, many queries not a single reply.
    And somebody might actually pay attention to the profit part of the site, and man the store....
