I've modified my Prius with a HV tap on the battery so that I can charge my electric motorcycle with it. I also will be receiving a gift of some Prius batteries to pair this with. I'm going to either install the second/third battery in my Prius for higher-power use (stationary charging is only 3kW), or make a battery trailer for my bike. Either way, I want a grid charger so that not all of my electrons are coming from the gas engine.

Hopefully, with the EV revolution, people are willing to part with their less-useful Gen 2 grid chargers for cheap to help enable a neat project. Anybody got one?

Thanks @SFO for the tip. I'll see what @04 Prius might be willing to divulge. I have the extra packs in my garage now and I'm hoping to put them to use. I've found out about an add-on module someone made (formerly hybridinterfaces.ca) that would allow me to add one or both to the car for everyday driving as well as my alternative uses, but they are long out of production. Maybe someone will have one of those they'd part with as well.

Regarding the HV tap, it was pretty simple, just some ring terminals, 10-3 cable and a NEMA L6-30 I use as standard for my motorcycle stuff. Video link not permitted since I don't have enough posts, but I'll come back and add it later.
