Today I came to work with no music... Its like my stereo cant find any stations.. its like someone removed the antenna. I even did a scan on the way to work and we have hundreds of stations in our city and nothing was found. Dropbox - File Sep 20, 7 07 52 AM.mov
you are sure the volume is working? anywho, sounds like you'll have to pull her out and see if the antennae wire and etc. are attached.
Its still under factory warranty. I am going to let them deal with it.. I did notice the ST for stereo light is blinking on and off which it usually stays on when the station is set. Yes I moved the volume up and down.
The hybrid battery is still under warranty, but isn't it 3 yr/36,000 mi basic, 5 yr/60,000 mi powertrain? You have a 6 year old car, unless you bought it used with whatever warranty that came with it...
So yesterday I got in my vehicle to leave for the day. I started the vehicle and didn't touch anything and the stereo came on as it all ways had before. So something happened yesterday.. it would not come on for anything. Its all ways on when I start my vehicle.
Okay. So it's the dealer's warranty, not the factory warranty... Glad it's working again. Sounds like a loose connection...
Well when I purchased the car I added the extended warranty which they stated it extends the bumper to bumper warranty through Toyota... LOL Yes but don't think its a lose connection but a malfunction...
well if the 12v was the issue I would be having other issues like memory issues from the radio station not holding the saved stations.. my clock not keeping the time and such... so I don't think its the 12v. I think its the stereo. Will have the dealer note that.
Not necessarily. A weak 12V battery can cause all sorts of strange things to happen. Or not. Best to load test it, eliminate that possibility.
