Wanted to say hi and thanks I lurked this forum a bit before I decided to finally pull the trigger on a Prius. I have wanted one of these since I first read about them in the late 90's. I got a good deal on a blue 2005 Prius. I am looking forward to driving it more than the 50 miles I drive it today to get home. Must say I am already enamored with it. I have been a long time Toyota fan and this is so far everything I have come to expect from them. Anyway hi and I'll see you around the forum. I will likely have questions soon.
Welcome to the group. We have a 2008 Prius. Ordered it new and had to wait 3 months for delivery. Have never been disappointed with it. Averaging about 49 mi/gal over its lifetime. Just keeps going. You'll be happy passing those stations.
I feel blessed to own one. It supplies all that I want. Gas mileage savings is all the fun of owning. Going 2 1/2 weeks without filling up is hard to believe. I keep forgetting to get gas, because I can't remember the last time I went. The last two fill ups happened when I got the dreaded "beep" reminder!! Enjoy and Welcome!!
