depends what you are looking for. are they low rolling resistance? do you want wet handling? braking? cornering? quietness? comfort? longevity? snow and ice?
We live in SE Georgia so snow & ice are not a concern. All the rest are always of value but reasonably quiet & comfortable (it's not a luxury car), safe on wet roads, no premature breakdown due to the heat (including being on very hot pavement a lot), decent mileage, decent cornering (it's not a sports car), and of course reliable breaking. We don't drive aggressively and are only rarely in city traffic. Thanks
if no one here has tried them, i guess you'll have to look for reviews. one major item is mpg's. the wrong tyres can cost as much as 10 mpg's.
221 reviews on the Walmart page I linked. 4.6 of 5 rating Includes positive mileage reports. I'm not seeing anything to justify paying 2x+ for another brand What I'm asking is if anyone sees in the data, or has direct knowledge of, something that presents a good reason to avoid these tires. Thanks
I have dextero s on my Jeep and they have been great tires. Great for rain and wet roads, good stopping and good on dirt. Havent been on snow much ut they seemed good there as well. I've not had any irregular wear issues.
OK. Finally ready to get some tires. Question: I need a little more clearance - so what are the tallest tires (using stock wheels) I can use? (I'm not concerned about a little mileage hit.) Current tires are P195/65R15's It appears that the tallest aspect ratio Dextero offers in a 15 is 70 So ... 205/70R15 96T OR this ... 215/70R15 98T ... for the best increase in height?
